Such a great authentic country dance hall! The bands are great, the dance floor is good quality, and the space is great. Masks are required for everyone but the band and there is plenty of hand sanitizer around, it may not be for everyone to dance at this time, but for those willing to take a risk it is managed well, and I was happy to get out and dance which lifts the spirits and supports a great local business as well as talented musicians.

Nice, rustic spot a few miles south of Dripping Springs. I was part of an 80th birthday party that rented the dance hall venue. Plenty of space, helpful employees, and big enough stage for the band. It was a catered event, so I can't rate their food/kitchen.

They don't have food but an amazing place and have cute little cabins. Rustic outside, but modern rustic on the inside, super cute, and the staff is the best.

Super fun for a Saturday night out dancing. Love it when there's a live band but they also have dance lessons on Friday nights. It's a great spot to meet up with some friends, have a beer and do a little two-stepping.

family friendly dance hall, not always open to the children, but the web site is very up to date and informative. We started a year ago attending the free dance lesson on friday nights, and the friendly people there made us go back every week ever since. We love learning a new dance, and the casual texas dance hall scene is pretty cool. Sometimes the live music bands just amaze us! So glad this is a doable rural drive from us, but it is so easy to get to from anyone in Drip, SM, or Atx. the owners are very nice and do so much work! I can't believe they do so much, and for decades, have been such an asset to the local community. Where else can all the neighbors get together in an ACed space to chat? Outdoor seating and indoor dance hall tables, all are kept clean, and are the nicest in Hill Co. imo. The free friday lessons are led by award winning, international dance competitors / coaches of two step. The real deal! And they are locals, with a texas family history of ranching, so the cowboy force is strong in them. Very fun every lesson, and donation based. Free. No pressure. They first take it slow teaching the tempo, the basic dance postures, how to do a basic two step, then... you learn a cool thing! Could be challenging for beginners, but don't give up. It's a safe space and very encouraging to be a beginner here. The food, typical bar snacks are provided sometimes. On NYE there is a full spread and worth every penny for that and the live music.

The dance floor is great, the atmosphere is fun, there is great cooling on the dance floor itself, and they have good music. There was a cover charge, but the band was excellent, so I don't begrudge that part.

Happened upon a fourth Sunday afternoon here and got to enjoy an afternoon of two stepping and great live country! Everyone was so friendly even though they probably could tell we were not locals. All the staff were so kind and it was easy to get service plus find a spot to sit. Really amazing event and felt lucky to have happened upon it! Definitely recommend if you get the chance to go. Wear your boots! You’ll want them for boot scooting and the gravel parking lot

Enjoyed going to our first Texas Dance Hall & took advantage of its free dance lessons on Friday night. What a fun date night! Look forward to going back to learn more dance steps, plus practice what we learned. Highly recommend!
